You ever need to have a plasma cannon repaired? Is your hovercraft's nuclear capacitor on the fritz? Did something explode and you aren't sure why? Bring what's left of your gear to the Mechanic Bay.

So this is my latest project that I was chewing on for my internship. I wanted to push myself in something I felt like I wasn't strong in, which is environment art. I feel fairly comfortable with hard surface, but mostly with a props. I've made an environment before, but I wasn't content with just that, so my goal was to dive into creating a scene with some creative freedom and get a crash course on an environment art pipeline, enough so that I have a nice environment to show, and also gain a better grasp on the ins-and-outs of an environment art workflow. Going through this I learned so much, and I feel much more familiar in Unreal Engine now. I feel like I've accomplished my goals this time, so I'm ready to move on.

Inspired by concept art.
